Family Nights
Family Nights are a special time when schools or nonprofit organizations have The Magic House all to themselves for an evening of play and learning!
Each special night will include private playtime from 6:00 – 8:00p.m. on a Sunday through Thursday; free admission for children and their families; and the opportunity for play, learning and camaraderie in an environment suitable for kids of all ages and abilities.
Included with your private rental:
- Use of exhibits within the wing you rent
- An onsite facility manager
- Magic House staff members to monitor exhibit
- Complimentary parking

North Wing
The North Wing features family fun exhibits, including the World Traveler Gallery, Traveling Exhibit Gallery, and Jack and the Beanstalk Climber.
Capacity: 500 per wing
Availability: Sunday through Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Rental Fee: $750 per wing, both wings $1,500
South Wing
The South Wing includes the ever-popular Children’s Village, Bubble Room, Electrostatic Generator, STEAM Center three-story Super Slide, Wonder Works and more.
Capacity: 500 per wing
Availability: Sunday through Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Rental Fee: $750 per wing, both wings $1,500
Grant Funded Opportunities
Your school or organization may be eligible for a Free Family Night! The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum is proud to be the recipient of several generous grants to make the Museum accessible to all kids. Please note that these evenings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information or to see if your group qualifies, fill out an inquiry form.
