Dorchester Brewing Company is Boston’s hottest Tap Room filled with fresh craft beer located right on Mass Ave in Dorchester! Visit our beautiful taproom, featuring our four-season Rooftop Greenhouse and outdoor roof deck, as well as in-house barbecue from our friends at M&M Barbecue, Game Room (with skeeball, pinball, arcade games, pop-a-shot, and tabletop shuffleboard) and so much more.

We offer more than your typical tasting room in a brewery – and have options for all drinkers including 20 tap lines with great, fresh beer, hard cider, hard slushies, seltzers, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic options. Sample a tasting flight or grab a full pour and take some fresh beer to go! Along with fresh craft beer, we also serve cider and 4 different wine varieties!

Our Boston Tap Room has plenty for all – games (Skee-ball or Pinball, anyone?), wi-fi, a 4-season Rooftop Hopservatory overlooking the Boston skyline with a beautiful seasonal outdoor patio both on the rooftop and the first floor, food from M&M BBQ, fresh beer to-go and of course plenty of fresh merch to wear out the door and rep your favorite brewery around town. And, we’ve also got a few great private event spaces if you’re thinking about hosting an event like a birthday party, small group meeting or even a wedding, contact us today!

Whether you’re a beer nerd, beer novice, have your kids or your computer in tow, we’ve got a great space for you to enjoy and hang out. We look forward to sharing our love of beer with you!

Getting Here & Parking:

Getting to our taproom on Mass Ave in Dorchester has never been easier, with some additional street parking and a bike lane just added, plus access from public transit, and PLENTY of parking nearby at South Bay.

TAKE THE T!
To get here by public transit, you can take the Red Line to the Andrew or JFK/UMASS stops – we’re conveniently located equidistant (about a 10 minute walk) between the two.

The #16, #17, and #8 buses also stop very close by, if you’re not up for a walk.

RIDE A BIKE!
In the late summer of 2023, the City of Boston installed a super sweet BIKE LANE running along Mass Ave, giving convenient access to our taproom.

FREE PARKING!
There is plenty of street parking (approx. 100 spots – or like a thousand Smart Cars) on both sides of Mass Ave near the brewery (please just avoid our loading zone immediately in front of the brewery from 6am-5pm, Monday-Friday).

If the street parking on Mass Ave is all filled up when you come to visit, there are an additional 2400+ spots at Southbay Shopping Center that are FREE to use, including their covered garage. The garage is approximately a 5-7 minute walk to the taproom.
We do ask that taproom visitors please not park in either the Plumbers & Gasfitters Union lot, and the Carpenters’ Union lot on either side of the taproom.

Taproom Policies and FAQs:

Pets: We’re excited that we’re able to welcome dogs back to our front patio! In accordance with newly updated policies from the City of Boston, we’ll once again be allowing dogs on our first floor front patio. Click here to learn more

Valid forms of ID include: US Driver’s License, Liquor ID Card or State Issued ID Card, Military ID, US Passport or Passport Card and International Passport and Foreign driver’s license with a photo of a corresponding passport. We invite those under 21, such as families, kids and babies to visit our taproom with parents or guardians and enjoy games, our non-alcoholic beverages (soda and seltzer) and food any day of the week.

Unfortunately, by law we cannot fill growlers.  Additionally, due to tax law, you can not consume Crowlers on premise. No external alcoholic beverages may be brought in and consumed on site.

Private Events: We are excited to host your next private event whether it be a small group meeting, fundraiser, birthday party or wedding! To learn more about hosting your private event with us, please send us a note through our contact us page.

This could be be the very reason you explore the city a little bit more and we’re certain you’ll be glad you did.
